Our Parish Priest, Fr Byrne, is originally from Duntocher, in West Dunbartonshire.
He was to the Priesthood in 2004 by Archbishop Conti, and served as Assistant Priest in Sacred Heart, Cumbernauld, and Our Lady of Lourdes, Cardonald, before being made Parish Priest of St Brigid’s in February 2011.
Fr Byrne leaves St Brigid’s on 19th September 2025, and will be replaced as Parish Priest by Fr Allan Cameron.
